Comfort is something that everybody desires for. From high-income earners to average-wage earners, everybody tries to meet their basic needs with joy. But, can the average income earner be comfortable with their income when government policy negatively impacts the fundamentals of the economy?
How do you deal with this matter with its ugly features such as high inflation rate, high interest rate, low GDP, and high cost of rent? Well, you may exercise your displeasure on social media platforms or even participate in demonstrations against your government or vote it out of office. With all these done, what if you do not get the intended results?
Here are our suggestions for you to help yourself:
We advise you to get another stream of income. With that, you will be able to ease your economic pressure. For instance, if you work as a nurse, you could look for a second part-time job.
It is also pertinent to economize. Switch stores and cut brand-name items. Yes, items such as Dove soap, Stroehmann bread could be your favorite, but you must switch stores to survive. Purchase frozen vegetables. You may feel that you have downgraded yourself, but it is not a downgrade, rather, it is understanding the times and seasons you find yourself in. Eat at less expensive restaurants and rent less expensive rooms to live in. Do not be ashamed of yourself about those decisions and choices. There is more dignity in being responsible than living in the streets, begging.
Avoid short-term loans or payday loans with high interest rates. This will save you from predatory loans.
